Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

I'm getting married!!

In case your new to the blog, you can read all about the proposal here.

The first real wedding planning I did was picking out my bridal party.  Pretty easy, except I wanted to ask each lady in a special way Pinterest worthy way. Let's be real.

I toyed around with a couple ideas and pinned a lot of samples, but something just wasn't jiving. I didn't want to spend a ton of money or give them a bunch of trinkets that looked pretty in a box but that would have little to no value or function afterwards.  And I wanted it to mean something.

Will You Be My Bridesmaid Card

I found this beautiful (and free) "will you be my bridesmaid?" printable online, and I almost used it, but I wanted it to be navy and gray (spoiler alert - that's our wedding palette). Houston whipped up a beautiful graphic and even added a quote on the inside and our wedding logo to the back.  He is all kinds of amazing.

I'm not sure of when or where, but I know I want you there

On the inside of each card I wrote enough mushy stuff to make a hardened criminal cry and asked each lady to stand beside me on my wedding day.

But my FAVORITE part was what I included WITH the card.

I went through years of photos to find special ones of me and each lady.  A lot of them are from very special days or times in our lives and it was wonderful to see how each lady has loved and supported me through the years.

  1. I'm trying to plan something super cute to ask all of my bridesmaids as well. As you said, "Pinterest worthily." (; I just loving seeing other's ideas. I'm still torn between a few projects. Good thing I'm not asking until July. haha
